The Pressed Green Fairy began 4 years ago from a passion to find my own unique, expressive voice using my artistic talents. I've been a practicing artist for 20 years, however, this collection of works embodies the beginning of my career not only as a printmaker, but as a proud working Artist. The Pressed Green Fairy site provides information about upcoming shows, exhibitions and images of new and old projects, as well as information about my artistic journey from dream to realisation. My creative expression evolves naturally from a word, thought, colour, movement, emotion, sound, feeling or a combination of these perceptions, senses and imaginings in order to produce unique, hand-pulled art prints here in Perth, Australia. The inspiration for my work is the beauty of life. The Ocean and Dance are the strongest sources of inspiration for my prints. I'm a seeker of beauty, truth and freedom of authentic creative expression. The dancers are beauty, their message is truth and their movement is freedom. Expressing myself in this way, through this medium is exhilarating and challenging. The Pressed Green Fairy is born out of the merging between two worlds: the world of my imagination as the "Green Fairy Printmaker" sparked by art training and experience in the visual, dance and musical arts and the world of my scientific education in the field of Biology and Psychology where I'm an experienced researcher of ocean & life science and children's psychological development. This multi-disciplinary background allows me to make a difference in people's lives through science and art. However, my printmaking art is how I choose to express and inspire love and compassion between humans and how they connect with each other and the world around them. My hope is that art offers people a new way of FEELING; about viewing their world differently than before experiencing art.

I invite you to join services with me in this new and innovative approach to raise money for whale/ocean research work, to empower people to make a difference no matter how small. Help me to raise the alarm with my 100 Whaling Women as they stand with me, dance with me on the opening night; When together we sing our “Whale Song” and awake the consciousness to the threat in our Oceans. It’s time the women make a difference and rise and dance together. It’s time that people learn they have the power to make a real difference. It doesn’t matter how small one voice is because when it’s raised with 100 other voices it’s thunderous! This is just the beginning, the inaugural event for my launch of “Natural Wild Art Exploration – Conscious Art” for the environmentally aware Natural Wild people. This is about artists contributing towards a better tomorrow, ordinary people giving for conscious art and helping raise funds for environmental issues. It’s about all conscious people taking back our power, our planet. A new era is on the horizon and it looks like the “Natural Wild” Era. Earth, a place where we all come together to get the work done that will finally allow the natural wild of this planet the chance to grow and co-exist with us and all living creatures, as it was meant to be.

HUMAN VULNERABILITY
PORTRAITS
Human Vulnerability was the original series in my printmaking career. In this collection I'm continuing with the concept and developing new perspectives looking into love, war and the void of feminine balance that has perpetuated aggression and ego for centuries. The series focuses on humanness and vulnerability that allows love and compassion to bloom, It is often the case that our most natural and erotic desires are reflected from vulnerability and our true nature. Through this collection, I attempt to use art as a unique and creative tool with which to explore different levels of connection in human interactions and their raw realities.
TRANSCENDANCE
THE HUMPBACK'S CALL
I always like to keep my work fresh and creative, and Nature is a prime example of my inspiration to stay relevant and innovative. Plastic is killing the ocean world and this series of work is my reaction to feeling the call of the whales for help. The Ocean needs our undivided attention! Are you part of the solution? Creating this collection was emotional. My connection to the Ocean is intimate and I pushed my artistic abilities to the limits by exposing my most vulnerable and deep feelings of sadness and grief, but also of intense desire for true heart to heart, soul to soul human connection. BEAUTY TRUTH FREEDOM
PASSION + MOVEMENT + COMMUNICATION
I'm a seeker of beauty, truth and freedom. The dancer is beauty, the message is truth and the movement is freedom. Dance is the most primal form of communication. Humans and animals have a musical brain and respond to music directly from their emotions. Dance and music are integral to our human existence and allow us to show our innermost expression of authenticity and the desire for touch, sensation and heart connection. Dance holds the potential to feel each other deeply and passionately and to empathise together in times of sorrow. It's a powerful tool we innately possess to help us create beauty from pain and to love one another without limits.
LOVE BLUE CONSCIOUSNESS
A NEW ERA
Roses are symbolic of love, feminine energy and the female bloodline. This is a new series born from opening my self-awareness and connecting to my feminine essence through self-love. The old chambers are now sealed shut and never to open again, eternally. There is a new seed planted, waiting to bloom and her name is LOVE. Through this collection, I attempt to use Print as a unique and creative tool with which to explore different levels of the realities of love and how self-love is the launchpad for loving others and giving our best to the world around us.

WORLD WIDE PRINT PROJECT

The "WorldWide Prints" project is an artistic and cultural initiative that aims to collect small prints from artists from all over the world to promote the knowledge and awareness of graphic art and to introduce, through the web, catalogs and exhibitions, to as many people as possible, the different ways of making graphic art in the world by comparing and uniting different nations. It is also a social initiative because in a historical moment in which nations, 30 years after the fall of the Berlin wall that with its history does not seem to have taught anything, build walls, build barriers to isolate, exclude, divide, this initiative wants to break down these barriers and create bridges by bringing together artists who, with their different artistic, cultural and social backgrounds, with their provenance contribute to creating a virtual community where there are no walls, barriers, barbed wire.
