A Bit More About Me
My creative expression evolves naturally from a word, thought, colour, movement, emotion, sound, feeling or a combination of these perceptions, senses and imaginings in order to produce unique, hand-pulled art prints here in Perth, Australia. The inspiration for my work is the beauty of life. The Ocean and Dance are the strongest sources of inspiration for my prints. I'm a seeker of beauty, truth and freedom of authentic creative expression. The dancers are beautiful, their message is truth and their movement is freedom. Expressing myself in this way, through this medium is exhilarating and challenging.
The Pressed Green Fairy is born out of the merging between two worlds: the world of my imagination as the "Green Fairy Printmaker" sparked by art training and experience in the visual, dance and musical arts and the world of my scientific education in the field of Biology and Psychology where I'm an experienced researcher of ocean & life science and children's psychological development. This multi-disciplinary background allows me to make a difference in people's lives through science and art. However, my printmaking art is how I choose to express and inspire love and compassion between humans and how they connect with each other and the world around them. My hope is that art offers people a new way of FEELING; about viewing their world differently than before experiencing art.
